Projects
Here we show projects which
we hope to put into practice with your help.
1. Public schools:
We think that education
is very important for the development of a country. Since the Mantaro valley doesn't
have primary schools, not even to think about high schools, our organization is
trying to build a school in 2 of the towns where they are most needed. Our contribution
is giving the kids free education, so they can reach the same educational level
as the children in the city.
2. Language library: We need
donations of all sorts of books to equip the language library, which can be used
by all the kids and young people who wish to do so. If needed, the resources could
also be used by the volunteers to prepare the classes.
3. Construction of play grounds:
We would like to build 3 playgrounds in 3 villages. The objective is to
provide a place for recreation and enhance physical and motor skills.
4. Introduction of a Health Center:
We would like to equip two health centers, located in two rural villages, with medical equipment and accessories.
5. Donation of clothes: The
sad reality in the villages is that clothes are one of the missing necessities.
Therefore “Peru Luz de Esperanza” wants to collect second hand clothes, which would
then be given (following a “visits scheme”) to the houses most in need.
The clothes
would be handed over by the volunteers in charge of the particular village.
6. Implementation of workshops
:
We would like to introduce different workshops in which the volunteers can help.These include carpentry, music, and baking. Therefore we require
tools, utensils and musical instruments.
7.Computing skills: Computer
classes would be carried out in the villages where there are no computers.
Therefore we require a donation of laptops. These are preferable as they can
be transported easily from one place to another.
8.Office utensils :
we need notebooks,
pencils, rubbers, paper and other office utensils for all the different work areas
in the different villages.
