A typical volunteer day

Morning:

  • The voluntary work is technical; we will be guiding you in what you need.

  • It could be carpentry, construction with dirt or any other project you have in mind.

  • Time required: 3-4 hours per day, monday to friday.

  • Level of Spanish: not required.

 

Afternoon:

  • The voluntary work is Educational.

  • There are 2 classes: class of 6-8 years and class of 9-12 years.

  • You can choose the class you are the most comfortable with to teach. You do not need to be professional teachers, but we need volunteers who have energy and love for the children. When needed, you will have the assistance of a Peruvian.

  • Time required: 3 hours per day, monday to friday.

  • Level of Spanish: Basic, intermediate or advanced.

Normally, the volunteer day monday to friday looks like this:

 

08:00 Breakfast.

09:00 Start the technical volunteer job.

13:00 Lunch

15:00 Continue with the educational volunteer job.

20:00 Dinner.

 

Volunteers usually works Monday to Friday.

Our family provides food Monday to Friday (3 times per day).
Saturdays and Sundays, the volunteers have time for relax or explore the local area (see,

You have availability our kitchen, you can buy vegetables from the area and you can prepare your food, if you prefer to be out site for to eat, you can go to Huancayo city (55 minutes from our house).

Evenings are a social time, you can improve your Spanish, read, or play some board games.
